The Caves in LOURDES

Place of worship of renown in the whole world, the heart of the Lourdes sanctuary (the caves) was realized in the Arudy gray stone. About 500m2 of Arudy roughened-finish pavement were positioned at the base of the cave. Besides, the altar of the Our Lady of the Rosary Basilica in Lourdes is made of a gross Arudy marble block. Once more, for this place of worship, it is the quality and the sobriety of the material which were undeniable selection criteria.
